Group D has two clear favorites with a couple of mid-tier teams to challenge them. Molotos & Marshmallows' main squad is surely a favorite with new players in, but also AT Gaming is a solid lineup even without Romain "Roa" Alliet, who joined the outlaws for this tournament.
Favorite: Molotovs & Marshmallows
In previous ESL CPS the team placed second, and despite Marek "tween" Pacher isn't giving his services to MnM anymore they still have wide selection of skill. With Martin "Kappa" Krompolc and Fabian "beat" Kuehn they have all the speed they need to beat other teams, and also their newer player Kenz "Symbiose" LG. they are looking for a good overall placement overall and should be able to win the group. With outlaws, Dignitas and PkD they are the favorites being in top four of the tournament.
Lineup: Air, beat, Bob, Default, habi, Kappa, kulvis, nevermind, Revii, ReVoLuTioN, seryfr, Symbiose, Vini, xxrider
Challenger: AT Gaming
Julian "asserich" Novacek's team has lost Alliet and guest Dennis "Massa" Lotze to outlaws mix, but rekryed a couple of new players as well. The team doesn't have any superstars at the moment, but each player is solid and therefore they are a clear favorite after MnM. David "Lund" Lundström and Siguard "Ziggy" Mikkelsen and many others are fast players who can challenge most others proteams when trained. Might be that the team can easily be second in the group, but after that it's all up to training amount.
Lineup: asserich, HymeX, kev, link, Lund, Scary, tazbolt, veT, Ziggy
The others
Speedo Team has a clear ace in their lineup: Jakub "Horeni" Horejsi, who has driven in numerous top teams during his career. The other team is also decent, and can put up a fight against ATG. Also Alphacore can challenge them, with "Gabbö" and others. Probably the biggest favorite to fight against ATG is Easy.eSports' second squad with players like "Coscos" and ex-dirt player "Bigley". They can set up a show against anyone in the group on a good day. Lastly we have BBD (Big Bang Drivers), who have also a wide lineup of player. Not many of them are known, but at least "Sparco.fr" is famous from his maps since TMN ESWC and surely has a lot talent as well.
Group E has the legendary Team Acer doing their comeback. With new faces in, Acer can win the division if they train enough - but Lioncast won't make it too easy. None of the teams here is a clear underdog.
Favorite: Team Acer
The old Acer core with names such as Koen "Koenz" Schobbers and Botond "Royal" Ördög should have no problem winning the group. With a bunch of new players on trial, Eric "Shark" Brems as probably the most known name, they are again a strong team even without old carry Michael "PokeR" Neuhold. Very interesting to see the name back in business and who out of the new names can make their breakthrough here. The lineup still isn't too big though.
Lineup: Koenz, DanikB, Dutchy, racehans, Royal, Serbi, Shark, Sky
Challenger: Lioncast
The Lioncast lineup is a bit like AT Gaming's with no clear carry player yet still talented lineup. They have quite many players, and with names such as fast Gianluca "Hivee" Pollex or new talent with good placements in Weekly Races Aurellien "Aurel" Bouard they can challenge Acer hard time. Nildas "Beef" Leuther's team can surprise and even beat the Acer on a good day here, so the group is very interesting.
Lineup: Beef, Aurel, Brownie, Equinoob, Hivee, maxc, SeRs, TommyD, Tona, troLL, Xeonn, Zammy, Zoeff
The others
In eXception we have old player "cobrask" from numerous French teams, and the other lineup is solid too, yet probably a bit more unknown. Meanwhile Swarm Gaming has some other old and known players like Lukas "classic" Brayner from legendary 711 lineup and ex-mythiX player Mustafa "KinGoD" Yigit. That's not all since the other gang is great too, and they are a clear favorite to challenge Lioncast or even Acer here. The last team, Fury, with old NA starplayer "Corey" and newer face "MicZor" they can fight against others as well. Will be hard to go through for both eXception and Furey, though.
Group F is the last out of six groups. Here we have an interesting fight between new Begrip lineup and older Easy.eSports, who both are able to win the division. Will be up to day's form who exists as the winner here, but both of them should go through to playoffs.
Favorite: Easy.eSports
The lineup of eK's main team is full talent. Multi-skilled Simon "SPEED U NEED" Busch, who has also won dirt events in the past, and probably one of the fastest players on stadium, the old face Floarian "oNio" Roschu, are seriously good players to beat almost anyone. Also Jonas "JohN" Kemmer switched from AT Gaming to eK for this STC. Last but not least, let's not forget the rising starts on the team - one of them is "Passi".
Lineup: paxmower, Banane, Barbos, icey, JohN, kenny, oNio, Passi, robin, SPEED U NEED
Challenger: Begrip Gaming
The new team built with old stars and players from old BX3 lineup with some new blood in is a dangerous mixature. They are still a bit unknown and hard to judge the placement with new names and motivational guestion with old guys. They have known names like Louis "bAp" Pouwels and Jonathan "Slink" Stenström and almost legendary old players like Jeremy "v4L1um" Bens and Ryan "Yam" Murray they can beat eK if they have motivation to do it. One of the most interesting teams in for sure, and probably able to reach far as well.
Lineup: hedeN, bAp, Battou, Noviso, kwyk, miLmy, PunkY, Sani0, Schriek, s-jay, Slink, v4L1um, wells, wh1sper, yam
The others
Insects, led by STC admin "Railag", has a lineup with some semi-known names such as Maxim "maks92rus" Zhomkov is a valid team to set up a fight with every "the others" team, yet beating Begrip or eK might be too much for them. Xenon is probably even less known team, but multi-envi talent "cl_meNt" is a scary player and can be instrumental for them winning maps. Dac-SP with "chillz" and others showed nice speed in latest ESL season, and with a rather big lineup they are as strong as Insects, if not stronger. Last team of the group is !mpact who have talented Tjorven "ragha" Dyckmans carrying the team. Will be tight with these four!
That's all, the first mappack is already out here and the first match is coming soon. Gogo and good luck to each team!
Also, sorry for not knowing every single player and probably missing someone, since editing lineups is still possible :)
